Founded in 1990, Abigail Ministries is a non-profit, non-medical Christian ministry committed to helping women carry any pregnancy to term, to facilitate healing, and to promote healthy lifestyle choices through the power of Jesus Christ.  We are part of a national effort to empower women with the truth and lovingly educate them about their options.  Our national affiliate, CareNet, has set forth ethical standards in order to insure our clients receive professional and caring services.  We are governed by a board of directors, consisting of  between five and eight community members.  We have a 501(C)3 non-profit status, and our financial records are available upon request.

Abigail Ministries provides free and confidential pregnancy-related services for the women of North Central Ohio and the surrounding communities. 

What does Abigail Ministries Provide?

• Free pregnancy testing with results determined by an off-site physician.
• Parent's forums promoting abstinence and healthy lifestyle choices for teens.
• A court-ordered mentoring program for at-risk teens.
• Community wide teen abstinence presentations.
• Mentoring for fathers and fathers-to-be - Coming Soon! 
• New and gently used maternity and baby clothing (sizes newborn to size 5T)
• Diapers, baby food and formula, toys, and used furniture when available
• Bibles, bible studies, peer counseling, parenting classes, STD information and pregnancy videos.
• 24/7 hotline: 800-395-HELP.
• Outside agency referrals-Adoption, Housing for Pregnant Teens, Family Services etc.
• Post Abortion Support Group
• Future Plans - to offer free ultrasound to our abortion-minded and abortion-vulnerable clients.
